Every November, thousands of people across the country and around the world participate in a writing project called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). This project will create a word tracking application that allows individuals to create different projects, track word count on each project, view data and reports on progress, and share that information with each other. The scope of the initial release will be creating projects and tracking word count with several options for stretch goals.
The project should be built using the MERN stack (MongoDB Express React Node) and will be licenced under the Apache 2.0 open source license. The project should provide you with a professional portfolio piece that has real-world impact, and we’ll focus on that in the project.
