Rootie Patootie the Almagation was born from the most terrifying act mankind can ever commit. Can you guess what it is?
Littering.
Planting and growing a despicably nasty tasting and mutated radioactive vegetable? Uhm. No. Littering is by far soooo much worse.
Anyways, now, after being conquered by the divine gaze, Rooty Patootie is on a mission to save its vegetable little self from the savagery of mankind...
Part 1: Rot and Run. Part 2: Into the Compost.
How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?
Our group has very little experience in regards to game creation. In order to focus our time, our group used asset sets for some backgrounds and objects.
What challenges did you encounter?
The challenges we encountered included effective time management as we split up our work between members, as well as the struggle of learning new software to accommodate our big ideas. Many times, our attempts at integrating detailed features and play mechanics into our platformer game were met with troublesome errors, leading to us having to compromise and adapt our idea over time.
Although my group has learned many things from this experience, there is still major room for improvement in this first-time platformer we made together.
