Virus Escape

Unmute
Run. Dodge. Defend. Welcome to the bloodstream.

In Virus Escape, you play as a brave white blood cell speeding through the veins of the human body. Your mission? Dodge incoming viruses, collect antibodies, and protect the body from an all-out invasion.

As you run, you'll encounter a variety of viruses, each with unique movement patterns—some zigzag, others dive, and some even teleport! Pick up glowing antibodies to gain buffs like temporary invincibility, speed bursts, or health regeneration.

But Virus Escape isn't just a game—it's also an experience that teaches. Along your journey, you'll unlock quick educational facts about the immune system, like how white blood cells work, what antibodies do, and how the body fights infections.

For level 2, the controls are reversed and going the oppsite directions, for the final level, the big blue virus (boss) tracks the player's movement and chases you to the end.

What tools did you use to create your project?

How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?

Our team didn't have any Game making experience, only had coding experiences. Each member had their own strengths and weaknesses. Jett was really good with the coding side of things and making the overall layout of the game. While Patrick was strong with guiding the team towards the right direction, making to do lists. Jaden covered us for the music needed for our game. Making unique music for each level and event. Aadhi was good with the artistic side on the game, creating and editing the sprits, overall the visual aspects side .
