Portfolio of Ojas and Anadi
How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?
Our group has foundational experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and we’re combining our technical skills with a creative storytelling approach to build a dramatic and engaging portfolio website. Each member brings something unique—Anadi is a disciplined sportsman and coder, while Ojas contributes flair and theatrical presentation. We’re creating everything from scratch without using any starter kits or templates, though we may incorporate free and open-source resources like Google Fonts, SVG icons, and Creative Commons images (with proper credit). The entire site is original and aligned with our theme: “Boring Things Deserve Drama.”
What challenges did you encounter?
One of the main challenges we encountered was finding the right balance between **drama and usability**—we wanted the site to feel over-the-top and theatrical without sacrificing readability or functionality. Designing sections like “Skills” or “About Me” in a way that was both humorous and professional took extra creativity. We also had to make sure that the dramatic animations and styling didn’t overwhelm users or slow down the site, which meant careful attention to responsive design and performance. Finally, working as a team meant coordinating creative ideas and merging different styles into one cohesive and dramatic experience.
