EYE/O is a simple, empowering tool that helps people with severe upper limb disabilities enjoy gaming through facial gestures. By recognizing natural movements—like turning the head or blinking—it translates them into keyboard inputs, making gameplay possible without the need for hands. Getting started is easy: a person calibrates a neutral face position of the disabled user and adjusts how sensitive the system is to movements, along with the cooldown time between actions, depending on the game the disabled player wants to play. Once everything is set, the EYE/O window can be minimized—letting the player focus on what matters most: having fun.

How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?

Our team has basic to intermediate experience with programming and with the libraries used in the project. We have used some python libraries like pynput, numpy, tkinter, opencv, mediapipe, etc.

What challenges did you encounter?
