What happens when someone is forced to make choices they don't want to make? When can they physically do? What can they mentally do? This short game provides a glimpse on what happens when the most valuable thing in the world- your mind, is corrupted.
How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?
Although I had previously used Scratch in Grades 3 and 4, I had not made any projects using it for significant period of time. However, while programming 'The Choice', I actively relearned the platform. Only the street background, the wallet image and the grey background of the start screen is not mine.
What challenges did you encounter?
Due to unforeseen complications, this project was developed by a single person within just one day (Day 2 of CodeDay). At the time, I had very limited recollection of Scratch, which made the programming process particularly challenging. As a result, I had to relearn the basics using Scratch’s official documentation and through hands-on experimentation with various features.
