The Package Explorer and Git Repository View currently use different sorting orders for displaying project contents. You will be addressing this inconsistency by ensuring that the Package Explorer respects the same sort order as the Git Repository View, or by implementing configurable sorting options so that both views present project items in a consistent manner according to user preference.
