Tacocat in Space

Not too long ago, in a galaxy pretty close to here. There was a prophecy, one that foretold the rising of an ancient evil. But humanity did not waver. Instead, they sent out their finest elite squad of soldiers.

Music and sprites are mostly unoriginal and instead 2010s pop culture references! ^o^

For some of us this is our fourth Codeday event and for others our first! We know basic programming but nothing too professional.

The most challenging thing was working in Scratch; Scratch doesn't allow multiple collaborators to work at the same time, so there were many... many... files sent between people. It also isn't the most powerful engine so we ran into a lot of lag and slow loading times; Our game had to be optimized a lot.
Still though, it came out alright!
