How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?

Our team has beginner-level experience in programming and web development. We are still learning and exploring technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Three.js.

The project was developed by our team using our own game concept, story, mission design, and gameplay logic. We used the Three.js library for 3D rendering and publicly available GLB 3D models for the character and vehicle, along with Google Fonts and browser-based APIs.

We did not create every visual asset from scratch. We used existing libraries and external 3D assets to bring our idea to life. However, the overall concept, game structure, coding challenges, and implementation were developed by our team.

What challenges did you encounter?

One of our biggest challenges was building a 3D game despite having limited prior experience with game development and Three.js. We faced difficulties integrating 3D models, creating the futuristic city environment, managing camera movement, and implementing player controls and combat mechanics.

Another major challenge was connecting programming education with actual gameplay. We wanted coding challenges to feel like meaningful missions rather than ordinary quizzes. Designing missions across Python, C++, Java, and JavaScript while keeping the game engaging was challenging.

We also had to work within limited hackathon time and balance visual design, gameplay functionality, and educational value. We overcame these challenges through experimentation, debugging, learning new technologies, and continuously improving our implementation.
